- Liberman, Yevsey Grigoryevich
- (1897-1983)Soviet economist. Born in Volyn in the Ukraine, he studied at Kiev University and the Kharkov Engineering Economics Institute. He initially worked in factories and later became professor of economic and organi-zation of machine building industry at the Kharkov Institute. He suggested a programme for economic reform in the Soviet Union which included using profit as a means of measuring success.
